Supposedly a $10 credit is on my account, BUT THEY STILL WON'T GIVE IT TO ME UNTIL MY NEXT BILL AS A CREDIT! Beause my subscription is in-active on Monday and Tuesdays. Now wait, the vacation hold ended Nov 27, no paper was there Saturday the 28. 1st when I called about my charge on account for more than my subscription price, (this shold have been less because of the hold and cancellation of the Thanksgiving paper} was told that the credit won't be on my account until NEXT month. They did not do so and that is when I complained about the missing paper. My vacation hold was initially for Thanksgiving weekend, plans change and I called them to correct. So, I don't get the paper when I want it, the system doesn't reflect the accurate days to hold and delivery was not gotten to me! And they ticked off the carrier because of their inability to get things correct. This was an error by the LSJ, I have the email confirmation after I spoke with them about the time frame. Last week I received a call from my carrier because I reported to customer service a missing paper not being received. What used to be a useful daily newspaper, has gone downhill to a mere few pages and most days, two sections. And that is without notice so you can choose not to get the paper! Somehow, they come up with reasons to charge you more with extra charges on holidays (ie., Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) or provide their "premium edition". My subscription is Wednesday thru Sunday in order to save money. Need to call to get proper credits when the paper is on "vacation hold". Every month I've got to call customer service, because since they have moved their call center to the Phillipines, my account is constantly screwed up. If I could rate them less than one star, I would.
